30 Day Worship Challenge – Day 15

Day 15

Psalm 5:7-8

“But I, by your great mercy, will come into your house; in reverence will I bow down toward your holy temple. Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies – make straight your way before me.”

Meditation – It is only by the grace and mercy of the Lord that we can share eternal life in His family. It is a humble spirit that is transformed by the righteousness of the Lord. Spend some time thinking about righteousness, Isaiah says “our  righteous acts are like filthy rags,” (Isaiah 64:6).  How can you show the Lord gratitude for the gift of His righteousness blotting out your own sinful efforts?

Prompt/Response –  Spend some time in prayer asking the Lord to reveal to you where you have tried to prop up your righteous acts as something pleasing to the Lord.  Ask the Lord to reveal to you His righteousness and pray for the transforming work in your life.  Give Him praise for transformation!!!
