Low waste living: caring for god’s creation (women only)

Before we tackle—or even determine—the various causes and concerns related to saving the environment, how much more important is it to ask the question “What is God’s purpose for His creation and what are His instructions for its care and nurturing?” Join us as we take a closer look at what scripture has to say.

In a world of excess, we’re always looking for ways to trim back and be more efficient to benefit both ourselves and our environment. What defines low-waste? It varies by individual and by habit, but the goal is to produce as little waste as possible by focusing on using products that are reusable and recyclable. Equipped with the right tools, making the transition to a low waste lifestyle is a surprisingly enjoyable effort.  It isn’t something that will happen overnight, but there are lots of fun ways you can gradually adapt in order to embrace a new, more environmentally-responsible routine that reflects our role as stewards of God’s creation. We’d love to share some of our creative ways with you!
