Grace University seeks to equip disciples of Jesus Christ with a basic seminary level understanding of what the bible is and how to read and understand the Scriptures. The class is designed to teach you strategies with which to read and understand what the Scripture is saying and how that applies to us today. The class is composed of videos, podcasts, and books. This is not a bible study, but a class on how to read the bible and how to understand the impact of language, culture, and time on our understanding of God's word.
Those participating commit to 1.5 to 2 hours of work outside of the weekly meeting time (Tuesdays at 6:30am). Completing Grace University takes 2 years to complete. One year is focused on the Old Testament and one year is focused on the New Testament. Those 2 years are split up into spring and fall semesters with summer and Christmas breaks. The schedule for year 1 of Grace U is to meet September 9-November 18 of 2025 and January 13-May 12 of 2026.
There is no cost to Grace University other than your time and effort. You will need to be able to watch videos online and listen to podcasts.
